Chapter 121 - Giants Of Jotunheimr
Loki chuckled. He then looked at the distant sun. The way that the sky looked, it was as if the sun had decided that it would no longer shine in this place. All that showed the sun was a slightly brighter blob on the sky.
He then shifted his focus down to the ground to look at the giants who were coming from the horizon. That was right. True giants. As huge as huge could be, every single one of their steps was enough to strike anyone\'s hearts with fear.
"I always wondered what giants really looked like. If the rumours that they were all so ugly any idiotic were true. I am glad to know that one of those stupid rumours us dispelled. My god do they look good." Lucas commented.
"Don\'t tell them that you thought that the giants were dumb and ugly. They will kill you before even thinking about it. And I am not going to stop them. Do you think that I would really care about some stupid vessel? It would even save me the hassle of getting Fenrir out." Loki said.
"Don\'t push it you clown. I may just be a mortal but I sure as hell know that I pack a punch. A pretty good one that will give even you a run for your life." Lucas said with a serious face.
The both of them stopped talking and looked back at the arriving giants. The only proper way to describe them was that they were bigger humans. But that was only true if the humans chosen were all models, and they happened to be a light sky blue.
"Who would have thought that the feared giants of Jotunheimr would be so dashing? It looks like that Odin was really vague in what he had told everyone what about the giants." Lucas said.
"The one thing that they shall appreciate is that you hate Odin. That is also probably where all of the similarities end." Loki said.
"If you take even one more dig at be, I kid you not, I will smack you so hard that you will bleed." Lucas said with a twitching eyebrow.
Loki sneered.
"Do you really think that you will even be able to see me without my son\'s help? Probably not. So you don\'t get to threaten me with some thing like that. " Loki said.
"Alright. Now he did it." Lucas said with an angry and irritated voice. His eyes turned blue line the sky, and white fur covered his body. If any one saw him like this at this particular instant, they would certainly think that he was a native. With white fur and blue eyes, he was certainly blending in to the environment. He was in his element right now.
Some of the giants had already reached then, and they were answering at Lucas and Loki. More accurately, their were sneering at Lucas, and did not even bother looking at Loki.
"Mortal. For what reason did a weak human like you come to our realm? " One of the giants asked Lucas.
"More they have done it. First this upstart that since actually call a good, and then there over glorified large men who are geared for only one reason and that is their stupid incompetence. I am stuck of having to deal with people like this again and again. It is like that people never learn what to do and what not to do." Lucas said with frustration.
"What did you say, human? Did you just call us incompetent? Are you tired of living? Although it will be a hassle, it looks like the under world shall have a visit from one of the must stupidest people there is. For you to offend the giants immediately after encountering them." The same giant said.
"I have heard that the giants are ugly and stupid. I know that the rumours are wrong. The giants are clearly only stupid." Lucas smiled.
"Now he has done it. Fenrir. Say good bye to this dear friend of yours. You will not see him again. " Loki said.
"Keke. All of you people don\'t seem to understand one simple thing. I did not choose a weakling. Why would I? I had ample choices. This one for the best. And all of you just called this mad man weak over and over again. You are just begging for a beating." Fenrir suddenly said.
"We giants are simple people. We shall recognise power over everything in the world. That is why I shall let this child\'s offence go unnoticed as long as he shows that he is powerful enough to warrant it. " Another giant said. This giant seemed different from the others.
For one, what he said clearly had dinner weight over everyone there because all of them took a step back after the giant spoke.
"Looks like you are the leader of this bunch. At least I got rid of the hassle of testing to give you. They say that to take care of the monkey, we have to beat the chickens. I strongly disagree. To take care of many chickens, we have to beat the monkey and force everyone else into submission. It is clear that that is what I have to do here. Or else, I am goin to keep facing this problem." Lucas said.
"You are quite arrogant and confident of yourself. But do you think you will be able to do anything at all, even touch me, before you will be out to the ground? Some times, nay, many times, you mortals think that you actually amount to something. I can see that in this form, you are different from many of the mortals that I have met, but I just have to tell you know. Even the good fear us, and there is good reason for it." The giant in the front said.
Lucas smiled. He then turned to face Loki. He moved his head, and his entire body blurred. Before Loki could even react, Loki\'s check had a distinct hand print.
"I told you. Don\'t need with me. Can me weak again and I might consider dolling out a fight to the death. It won\'t be that difficult to win against someone as weak as you." Lucas said. He then clapped his hands and looked at the giants.
"The gods mean shit to me. I never cared about them. Don\'t use that trick on me. I am sure that some small kids got scared. But this might be the first time that you are facing someone actually powerful. So I suggest that you stay on your guard. " Lucas said with a serious look on his face.
"Then this is more than better. What else is a better way to show case your power than through a fight? Gormundeir. Come forward and meet this man in battle. He seems eager to meet an early death." The giant moved back, and another moved front. The one that just arrived looked a little different from the rest. The most prominent difference was in the clothing. This giant was wearing armour and had a giant sword in his hands.
"For someone like you, I won\'t need a sword. My fists will be enough to take care of a pig." The giant named Gormundeir said. He laughed at what he said as he stroke the sword to the ground. It cracked the ground, and dug deep into it, just standing there. Just the size of the sword alone was as tall as Lucas, and when Lucas faced off Gormundeir, it looked like a funny match up between a cat and a mouse.
"No wonder they call you giants dumb. It is quite clear that you do not learn from what is happening around you. Did you not understand that I am not your average human?"Lucas asked as he slowly walked towards Gormundeir.
"You bastard. Do you dare say that again? How dare you say something like that to my face?!" Gormundeir was furious. He dashed forward to attack Lucas.
Lucas had a hint of a smile on his face. He moved slightly and clenched his fists. He then moved in a slow and bizarre way that did not confirm the laws of physics. Even though he was moving only a few inches, and he moved so slowly, there was still an after image of sorts.
Gorumundeir looked at this with a little confusion, but he continued his attack. Just when his fist was just a few inches away from Lucas\' face, Lucas\' fist suddenly collided with Gorumdeir\'s.
Boom!
